Muskhane, founded in 2003, celebrates the rich artisanal heritage of Nepal. Inspired by their time with Handicap International, founders Thierry and Valérie launched Muskhane as a platform to support local artisans and promote equitable trade in the Kathmandu Valley. Over the years, this initiative has grown into a vibrant social enterprise that uplifts Nepalese craftsmanship while enhancing local economies.
Handcrafted Excellence
Every Muskhane product is hand-crafted using natural, renewable materials like sheep's wool, Nepalese cotton, and locally sourced paper. Valérie and her team work closely with artisans, visiting workshops to design and perfect prototypes. Their products not only reflect the beauty of traditional Nepalese artistry but also embrace sustainability and modern design, offering timeless pieces that bring warmth and elegance to any home.
