Their mission is to uplift rural women by providing sustainable employment opportunities and preserving traditional craftsmanship. Prokritee employs over 1,500 women, offering fair wages, skill development, and access to global markets.

At the heart of Prokritee’s work lies a commitment to sustainability. Their artisans create beautiful products using recycled and locally sourced materials, such as jute, recycled sari fabric, and even handmade paper. Traditional techniques like weaving, stitching, and paper-making are passed down through generations, allowing these skilled artisans to preserve their rich cultural heritage while earning a fair wage.
