The Dumbara Cushion is part of the iconic Dumbara collection, a collaboration between the Somawansa family and Barefoot designers. This collection celebrates the distinctive Dumbara weaving technique, which originates from the Ida Dumbara Valley. Revived by Dominic Sansoni and Mr. Somawansa in the early 1980s, it represents a rich tradition of skill and artistry.

Each cushion cover is made from 100% handwoven cotton, with every design being one-of-a-kind. The intricate, unique patterns are crafted by hand, making each cushion a true work of art. With over 30 years of collaboration, Barefoot Ceylon has helped preserve and share this traditional handcraft, and the Dumbara Cushion, complete with cushion inner brings this timeless heritage into your home with beauty and authenticity.

Care: Machine wash up to 30ºC/86ºF, gentle cycle. Use mild/liquid detergents. Do not bleach. Dry in shade. Iron at any temperature, steam. Do not tumble dry.
